When did you start your journey?

My journey began 4 years ago when I decided to gain control of my life.  I was overweight and unhappily married.  Starting to feel good, I decided to open my own hair salon.   things were starting to look up. in February 2020, I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I had 1  chemotherapy treatment and I am down with covid and pneumonia. I was hospitalized and honestly didn’t think I was going to make it.  This was at the height of covid and my chemo treatments were now pushed back 6 weeks. I had 6 months of chemo, once a week, a double mastectomy, 6 full weeks of radiation, and a few more surgeries.  During this time I was going through my divorce and had to sell my house and move my 3 kids.  Finally, I lost my dad suddenly. but there is a happy ending.  I had 3 kids and that life was turned upside down. I had to show them that life sucks sometimes but it all was you make of it.

Reflection?
I reflect every day and  I truly think I am the luckiest girl alive.  I appreciate every breath I take.  I don’t take one minute for granted and I’m forever grateful for what I went through. I wouldn’t be the person I am today.
today I have opened a bigger salon, I’m pursuing my dream of becoming a model, I’m studying real estate investment, and working with an artist who is helping me design tee shirts and hopefully more.  I am living out my dreams.
What can you tell someone whos upcoming?
What I can tell anyone is that we get one life and sometimes it gets tough.  it’s all that you make of it. go after whatever you want.  someone once told me if you don’t ask then the answer is always no.
My goal is to be the dumbest person in the room.  I will surround myself with people that are positive and educated.  I want to connect with and grow and see where life takes me.
My dad was an entrepreneur and I was taught by him. I am a creative person and love beautiful things.  Fashion and home design are my passion.  I’m hoping modeling brings me closer to that.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years I see myself as the next big model at 50 years old. having my own clothing and home design brand.   I see myself owning lots of real estates and being financially free building generational wealth.  the most important thing you can do for yourself is work on your mental health
